Click the “device” icon, then hit the Pair button to see a prompt with 6-digit passcode on both of the devices.Now, your Windows 8 laptop should discover your Android device, and list it on the screen. Go to PC and devices > Bluetooth and slide the Bluetooth switch to the right.On your Windows 8 laptop, press Win + I, then click Change PC settings.On your Android device, turn on Bluetooth and activate the “discoverable” mode which allows your Windows PC to see your device. Note: For this tutorial, I’m using a Galaxy Note 3 Android phone as an example, but the steps below (with a little adjustment) should work for all the Android devices. If your phone has a data plan, you can share its Internet connection with your Windows laptop via Bluetooth.
